What happens when we believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit?

"When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, 'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased' (Matthew 3:16-17). The reason why I started writing this book, 'The baptism of the Holy Spirit' is that God has given me redemption, along with the Holy Spirit, as a gift. I appreciate that God has bestowed to me the faith, the forgiveness of sins, and the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ. The other reason for writing this book is to prove that the way to receive the Holy Spirit is from God.

Primarily, we need to know what sort of faith we should have in our mind in order to receive the Holy Spirit. To receive the Holy Spirit, we need to cleanse our sins beforehand, and in order to do so, we should know and believe in the gospel of Jesus 'baptism and His blood. We need to get qualified to receive the Holy Spirit through believing the words of water and the Spirit and receiving the forgiveness of sins consequently. Trying to receive the Holy Spirit by means other than the one above is simply religious greed or the misconduct that doesn't lead the way to receive the Holy Spirit. In addition, praying for forgiveness is not the key to receive the Holy Spirit. You'd simply become just like a robber if you desire to receive the Holy Spirit without cleansing the sins in your hearts. If a sinner is asking for the Holy Spirit as a gift from God, he's having a wrong faith. When we ask someone a favor we cannot but refuse, if it is a favor of bad intention or wrongness. Similarly, we must know that we'd finally be qualified enough to receive the Holy Spirit as a gift after we believe the gospel of the water and the Spirit in our hearts and receive forgiveness of sins.

We should also know that we must wash away our sins, primarily by believing the words of Jesus' baptism and His blood, in order to receive the Holy Spirit from God. Are you all prepared to receive the Holy Spirit as a gift? In order to do so, we should look for the right kind of faith that could bring the Holy Spirit to us. And the key answer to this question is all in the gospel of the water and the Spirit that God has given. Do you know how the true gospel of the water and the Spirit bestows the Holy Spirit? The gospel of the water and the Spirit that gives the Holy Spirit is something like dynamite. The gospel of the water and the Spirit takes away all the sins of mankind at once, just as dynamite blows up a whole building when it explodes. We receive the Holy Spirit only when we meet and believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit.

Does the Holy Spirit come upon sinners who believe in Jesus?

The sins in a sinner's heart will be clearly washed away and become white as snow. He'd be aware that all his sins are washed away and that he is born again ever since he has believed in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. He could also be an evangelist who could preach the gospel of the water and the Spirit to other people. Finally, he'd know that the Holy Spirit has come upon himself like a dove after he believed in this gospel. And the Holy Spirit makes one be fulfilled with greater peace and happiness like the ripples of a lake that spread quietly but widely. The Holy Spirit comes upon someone who believes in the words of the water and the Spirit. We must believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit with all our hearts in order to receive the Holy Spirit, a precious gift from God. And this is also applicable to sinners.

Though one's sins are as scarlet, he will be as white as snow when he believes in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. A person who believes in the gospel of the water and the Spirit has the testimony of receiving the Holy Spirit. The word of God proves that a person who believes in the words of the water and the Spirit has been redeemed, become a son of God and a righteous person, received the Holy Spirit in his heart, and that person also has a proof that he did receive the Holy Spirit through what is written.

Have you ever received forgiveness of sins and the Holy Spirit in your heart simultaneously? Do you have any sin in you at this moment? If so, you should firstly believe in the gospel of the water (Jesus' baptism) and the Spirit and receive forgiveness of sins consequently. Then, receive the Holy Spirit as a gift and give glory to God.

We should clearly know to whom the Holy Spirit comes upon, according to which kind of gospel he/she believes in. When we believe in the truth that all the sins of the world were transferred to Jesus when He was baptized by John the Baptist, we are freed from sins and receive the Holy Spirit. A true Christian is a person who believes in the gospel that Jesus took away all the sins of the world through the baptism from John, that he died on the Cross instead of us and was resurrected. The Holy Spirit comes upon those persons who believe in this gospel.

What is the meaning of the Holy Spirit coming upon Jesus when He was baptized?

The Holy Spirit doesn't come upon someone who still has sins in his heart. That is, He doesn't come upon those who believe in God "religiously." A lot of people believe in God as one of the religions, but if they do not wash away their sins by the words of the water and the blood, they cannot receive the Holy Spirit at all. Bible says that the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus like a dove when He was baptized and came up immediately from the water. It implies that one would receive forgiveness of sins and the Holy Spirit as a gift when he knows and believes in Jesus' baptism and the blood on the Cross. On the contrary, if one believes only in the blood on the Cross the Holy Spirit cannot possibly come upon him for he is not sinless whenever he sins. In other words, those who believe only in the blood on the Cross cannot receive the Holy Spirit no matter how much they believe in Jesus because their sins cannot be washed away through the baptism of Jesus.
